Summary
The Accessa EAA extension does not collect, store or share any personal data or information about the pages you visit. All analysis happens on your device, inside your browser.
What the extension does with pages
- It reads the content of the open tab only when you click the Accessa icon, and only that tab.
- It analyses the page structure (images, text, buttons, forms) to find accessibility issues.
- It shows the results in the extension panel. Results are not kept after you close the panel.
- It does not read values typed into forms, passwords or cookies, and does not record browsing history.
Permissions and why
- activeTab: grants access to the current tab only after you click the icon.
- scripting: runs the accessibility check in the page and highlights elements.
The extension does not request permanent access to websites.
Data collected
None. Accessa uses no accounts, cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party services. It does not sell or transfer data, because it collects none.
The only thing the extension keeps, inside your browser, is the number of completed checks and your answer to the review request (so it is not shown too often). It contains no page addresses or personal data, is never sent anywhere and is deleted when you uninstall the extension.
This website
This website uses no cookies or analytics and serves its fonts from its own server. It is hosted by Vercel Inc., which, like any hosting provider, may log technical request data (such as IP addresses) for security and operation, under its own privacy policy.
